There is a train from Belgrade to Bucuresti which is going trough Timisoara. It runs daily from the mail train station in Belgrade at 16:27
There are no buses from Belgrade, nor from Novi Sad.
Try to find some more train information at www.bahn.de
welcome to ST!

? Belgrade to Bucharest, one way, by train - 28 euros
? return - 45 euros

? this is for 2nd class... if you want the sleeper, the supplement is 16 euros

Oh and - almost forgot Smiley There is an excellent web site - I used it for planning my trip around Romania a couple of years ago. Very precise train timetables etc.

Hvala! Smiley
And can you please tell me if it's difficult to buy such tickets? (I mean 2d class train ticket) Is it necessary to book them beforehand?

? ?No worries, there's no need to book anything. The procedure is pretty straightforward, just go to the station and buy your ticket some 15 minutes before the departure.

? ?Trains operating between Serbia and Romania are usually almost completely empty, so you're very likely to have the entire compartment all to yourself, which is almost like a sleeper Smiley

? ? You may need to stress out that you want the 2nd class, otherwise they'll do their best to sell you the sleeper, which is more expensive and you don't really need it.
