Green Card Insurance

Hi,

Do you know if it is possible to buy car insurance at the border when entering from Hungary?

I have been unable to get my insurer or any infact to insure me for the Serbia, Montengro etc for a good price.

That is strange! I thought for EU countries you don't need to pay extra for a green card, they issue it for free and it's valid for Serbia.

Hi,
Unfortunately that does not apply to UK insurers who seem to ignore the green card thing...
I did get a quote for over £2500 for a years insurance thou from one company. This is why I have decided to buy at the border.

Any idea of cost?
