Posted June 11, 2020 I am an Indian traveling to Serbia from 22nd to 26th of this month with my family , having booked a travel plan through Holiday Factory in Dubai. Please can someone advice what are the documents to be provided at the Serbian Immigration for getting visa on arrival. Is there a chance of refusal ? how much money should i carry for a family of 3 for a trip of 4 days. Is there a mandatory amount to be carried if my hotel booking is confirmed?. Please can someone advice which are the must see tourist spots and which is the best way to travel to these spots . Any precautions to be taken? Hi, Indian citizens don`t need visa to enter Serbia, up to 30 days.. So you don`t need any visa on arrival, just passport, so there is no chance of refusal....Entry requirements for anybody with, or without visa requirement are as usual as in European countries, and that`s 50 euros per day. Usually castoms don`t ask for that, but you never know, like with any customs heheh..If you have any credit cards, that is pretty good proof as well...You don`t need to have pre-booked stay, and medical insurance, but it`s suggested.. Regarding money, it depends to individual interests ,of course, but I would say about 50 euros per day per person, not even so...Serbia is quite cheap country, much cheaper than Dubai, maybe a bit more expensive than India, but not much. I assume you coming to Belgrade first. Belgrade famous spots are Kalemegdan fortress in downtown, Skadarlija bohemian quarter , also downtown, Ada Ciganlija lake, about 6km from downtown, easily reachable by public transport numer 56, 511, 91, 92 or taxi, Avala mountain with TV tower, about 30 min. ride from downtown, president Tito memorial center in Dedinje city block, about 3-4 km from downtown, also easily reachable by public trolleybus number 41, or 40..If you have some spare time, nice day trip would be to Oplenac, town with Royal complex where Serbian kings were crowned in the past, or city of Novi Sad, beautiful city 100 km away from Belgrade, with the most beautiful fortress in Serbia, on river Danube, called Petrovaradin. No precautions are necessary, apart of really pushy taxi drivers, and they are rip off as well. My suggestion is to download CarGo app, that`s our type of Uber ( since Uber is not legal in Belgrade), it`s the best option, you pay by card, itinerary is marked, no frauds, clean hands heheh, and it`s even cheaper than regular ride on taxi, even if taxi driver doesn`t want to rip you off Just one suggestion. Since there is quite a lot of illegal emigrants from Afghanistan and Pakistan walking around Belgrade, police sometimes tends to stop them on the street and ask them for documents. Posted June 12, 2020 @devis123 Regarding money: You can just print (or show them through your bank app) a bank statement with visible date in case custom officers ask for it. But this is not common practice anyway, especially if you have a hotel reservation. You can find an ATM and Exchange machine, located at international arrivals area, next to baggage reclaim carousels. And you will probably need cash for taxi, so be sure you have some Serbian dinars before you leave the airport. If you are taking taxi from the airport, please order one from the TAXI INFO desk, located at the exit. Do not talk directly to taxi drivers. The price to the city center is 1800 RSD if you order taxi from the taxi info desk. Unfortunately, taxi drivers in Belgrade are champions of rudeness and way too many of them will try to earn extra money once they realise you are a tourist. That is probably the only scam you could be exposed to in Serbia. So, always call taxi associations to order your ride. Do not take taxi at taxi stations around tourist areas. If you want to pay with a card order Naxis Taxi. All vehicles have credit card readers. This is not typical for Belgrade. Pink Taxi advertise the same, but I experienced opposite too many times. For public transport rout suggestions you can use google maps or https://moovitapp.com You can check walking tours websites. A lot of interesting squares, parks, monuments, museums, churches and historical buildings can be seen in the city center, all reachable by foot. Beside the places mentioned above I'd suggest you to check out St Sava's Temple, one of the biggest, if not the biggest orthodox Christian temple in the world. I'd suggest you a couple of local dishes and drinks you should try while you're in Serbia: - Burek with yogurt (the best breakfast option, the most popular are with meat or with cheese, but both are prepared with pork fat, so if you're vegetarian or you don't eat pork this one is not for you) - Pita sa pečurkama (a mushroom pie with yogurt should be your solution for breakfast if not the first option - in Belgrade, people usually have a breakfast in bakeries, you'll see dozens of them everywhere and some of them are open 24/7) - Turkish coffee (or domestic coffee, black, non filtered coffee, if you haven't tried it before, you should ask how to consume it, you don't drink it all up) - Rakija (strong alcohol drink made of fruits, the most popular one is plum's rakija - šljivovica) - For the lunch and dinner there are a lot of options but be sure to check out: sarma, pasulj prebranac, ćevapčići, karađorđeva šnicla, podvarak...
