2 Days excursion
Well, today I went to the Serbian tourist center (in Belgrade, don't remember the exact street name, but it's very close to the Belgrade tourist information office in Knjez mihaelova street). They actually recommended that I go to the southwest, towards Cacak, Zlater mountain, uzice and all this area. also, I can be closer to belgrade by going to Valjevo, Tara mountain, Mokra Gora. Looking at the map now, I am thinking about going maybe to Loznica, I see that there are many nature attractions in that area. The thing that am concerned about is *HOW* will I find the trails? lets say I go to Loznica and I want to go from there on a half a day long trip... are there marked trails? where can I find a map for these kind of trails? After the consultation there I met with a friend who recommended that I take exactly the path that you recommended, Abraskas. to go north and see the villages, wineries, restaurants and such along the Danube river in the north, to Novi sad, fruska gora and that area. She said that it is more of a sightseeing thing, which maybe suitable for us too. I think I will plan for both options. But, the same question arises, will there be marked trails (in case we decide to do this) and how to find them... Thoughts anyone?

2 Days excursion
HI everyone I am an expatriate living in Belgrade, and going to have a guest coming in for a week long vacation in mid October. I would really like to not spend the entire time in the city, and was thinking to take him for a 2-2.5 day trip to see some nature, do some hiking and stuff like that. We were thinking about renting a car and going not too far a way from Belgrade. We are planning to get out and make it back to the city in about 2-3 days because of time constraints. Any Ideas where we can go to make a base in some village from where we can take some trips, have something to eat and drink in the evenings and a nice place to sleep, and from where we can do some nice trails? Would appreciate any advice! Thanks

What I am looking for: good spirited people, who know where to go and how to get there and back to Belgrade. What I offer: good company and, well... that's about it name: zvi from: Israel age: 30 Cheers
