  1. Buying a used car

    Hi, A friend and I are planning on doing a roadtrip of Eastern Europe this summer. We're thinking of flying to Belgrade and buying a cheap car there and driving west to Croatia and then around the coast to Albania and then east to Istanbul. Does anyone know how much it might cost (we're talking the cheapest car that you can legally drive on a road - hopefully a Lada!) and how we might get insurance? And how much that will cost? We're both UK citizens so visas etc won't be a problem. Also, any tips for particularly good places, either in Serbia or the rest of the region, would be much appreciated! Thanks for your help! Nick
