Travel into the alluring world of the Urak Lawoi and see how the sea molded culture.

My name is Miloš, and I’m an underwater photographer. I share my passion for the ocean through photography. It’s not only the underwater world that mesmerizes me, but also people and cultures directly tied to the sea. I fell in love with one of those cultures in Thailand, where I visited one of its gorgeous tiny islands called Koh Lipe. They are mostly known as Chao Lay in Thai or sea gypsies in English. I’ll call them Urak Lawoi as this is how they refer to themselves.
