Fotograf Džimi Nelson (Jimmy Nelson) je proveo više od četiri godine dokumentujući 29 različitih kultura i plemena širom sveta koja su na rubu nestajanja, često u zabačenim delovima sveta, a koristeći svoj 50 godina star fotoaparat formata 4×5. Njegova knjiga ”Pre nego što nestanu” (Before they pass away) je ujedno i zbirka fotografija koje je Džimi napravio na ovom dugom putovanju, a njegove fotografije prikazuju plemena i njihove članove u, kako fotograf sam kaže, ”svoj njihovoj fantastičnoj etničnosti”.
