I would like to exchange some Serbian dinars left from a trip. I have learned that I cannot exchange them in Italy or other countries I visit often. Do you know in which countries I may change Serbian dinars outside from Serbia?

Thanks,

Miguel

Unfortunatly, I think nowhere. It was posible in some exchange offises in Hungary, but I am not sure if tit is posible now.

There are some kind of "shops" (they are not exchange offices) in Sweden and Denmark I think, but it's not like the closest place to sell the money (U can sell as much as U have of almost any kind of money).

I'm still trying to remember the source of this information, and I'll come back with it asap if U think it'll help U.

How many Dinars you have?

And where are you from?

I am not sure that you can change it in EU countries.

:yok:

Thank you for the suggestions. I have been recently in Sweden but did not know about those places. I currently live in Spain and have about 400€ in dinars (don't remember the exact amount now).

There are many guided tours from Serbia that visit Barcelona in May/June. It might be that some of those tour guides will be willing to exchange your dinars if you give them a small discount on the official exchange rate (if you find some exchange office abroad that takes dinars, it will rip you off anyway). Try to contact e.g. www.vivatravel.rs or any other agent (they all sell the same tour to Lloret/Barcelona and know each other so they can point you to the right person). You may also try to find someone on this forum. I'll be in Madrid in July and might be able to help you (commission-free).

Thanks for the information. I live about two hours from Madrid so it would be easier for me to travel to Madrid. If you have time during your visit I will be glad to show you around.
