Posted July 27, 2010 Hello! I have some silly questions: - Rostiljijada in Leskovac, does it begin on Monday 6th of September 2010? - How is accomodation in Leskovac during Rostiljijada? Everything booked out? Suggestions for cheap accomodation? Or should we stay in ho(s)tel/motel at Nis? Thank you! Reply
Posted August 1, 2010 As I now there are not any hostels in Lekovac, I suppose there is private acomadation but it will hard to find and expensive.I would recommend to find pleace to stay in Nis.Call me a local patriot(I am from nis) but it is farr beter here than in leskovac. There is a lot of pleace to see like fortress of nis skull tower concetration camp from world war II...... enjoy your stay in our country and com back again! Posted August 1, 2010 Thanks! Yes, the accomodation options in Nis must be much better than in Leskovac. With such good bus connections to Leskovac, I think it's better to find some nice place in Nis and visit Leskovac by bus. Reply
Posted August 1, 2010 Exactly. For Leskovac one evening is enough, You can take a walk, have diner look at very pretty girls and catch a late bus or train back to Nish. one advice: avoid street rostilj sellers.I recommend that you go to a restaurant like ,,cap cap,,or some other quality is much better and the price is the same or even less. Well have a nice diner! I may come to leskovac to rostiljijada. Reply
Posted August 16, 2010 Well, I don't know is it now to late to answer to your question. But, in Leskovac there are many new hotels, but with prices like hostels, for example Perla www.pansionperla.com and price is from 6-10 euros per room. You have much better informations on their web site. Next new hotel, in centre of the city is Djermanovic www.djermanovic.co.rs. Hostel Mimi, phone number +38164 196 18 31, and many others. Just google and you will easily find sometnig. Bus ticket from Leskovac to Niš, with the cheapest bus is 3,5 euros. It's much better to stay in Leskovac, than to travel late in night when the party begins in Leskovac. If you need any further information I will be glad to give you some informations. It is not polite from darko, and other from Nis to give wrong informations. People from Niš came to Leskovac when they want to go out late night on weekends. We have Safari, Aleksandar, Zoom, ex ABC, and many other clubs, and they don't. Please believe I know what I am talking about. I live in Belgrade, but every time when I have few days I came to visit my friends from my childhood in Leskovac, and have great fun here. Welcome! Posted August 16, 2010 Thanks sanjajelena! I will have to check out those hotel websites. Only concern for me is that there are lots of other food lovers and they are all booked out during rostiljijada, but I will have to ask. No worries, there is enough time for both Nis and Leskovac Reply
Posted August 23, 2010 Hello everybody! This is my first post on this forum, so I wanted to help someone as much as I can... sanjajelena is right, in Leskovac there's a lot of new hotels with excellent service and quality and also with good prices. There's also a newly open hotel Gros who has an excellent serbian etno restaurant with absolutely beautiful interior and cosine. It's much better to go here to eat rather than on the street. You will not regret it if you visit this restaurant. You also have "Cap-Cap" and "Princ" restaurants. Both have Italian and Serbian dishes... I hope I was helpful. Rostiljijada begins on Monday 30th of August and will last until Sunday 5th of September. Reply
Posted August 20, 2013 Hi All, I'm sorry for bringing such old topic up, nevertheless would be much appreciated if someone could help me. Last year we stayed in a hostel called Zuccero (not 100% sure if the name is correct), it's quite close to city center and club Alexander, it was fine enough for one night stay. If someone could is living near would be appreciated if could give me a phone/mail contacts. Please feel free to suggest other hotels/hostels in Leskovac (links would be helpful as well) , as Nis is not a option for us. Thank you in advance. Regards, Alex Reply
