Dear Serbian Travelers club

My name is Wesam and im Egyptian living aboard in united Arab emirates .. i have residence there yet i wanted to come to visit Serbia and seem my friends there ,, and im really confused because i saw on  your website that i need visa because im holding a non diplomatic passport .. however my friends there says that after asking some people and the police and all they said that i dont need a visa because im holding a Egyptian passport and i only need to check in with the police with in 24 hours when i arrive .. and they said that there is new rule regarding this issue thats why i dont need a visa .. so would u please clear things up to me because im really confused and i dont know what to do.

please help me :) thank you

Your friends are not well informed. You do need a visa.

National EGYPT (ARAB REPUBLIC OF) (EG)                       

Embarkation EGYPT (ARAB REPUBLIC OF) (EG)                     

Destination SERBIA (REPUBLIC OF) (RS)                       



Passport and visa required.


- passenger is considered a minor up to/incl. 14 years of age;

- if minor's name is inserted in passport of accompanying

  parent then the minor's name must also be inserted in that

  parent's visa.

Visitor may be requested to show:

- return/onward ticket; and

- all documents for next destination; and

- sufficient funds in hard currency for maintenance and


Passengers holding tourist visas must also hold hotel vouchers.

Thanx for replying me in such a short notice .. however i have some other questions now after i knew that i need a visa ..

Can one of my friends in Serbia manage to get me visiting visa??

im currently living in Uniter Arab Emirates  in Abu dhabi .. do you have an embassy here to contact ?

So i can let one of my friends in serbia make me a visiting visa , thats good umm but is it easy to get a visa to Serbia ?

  I've made an inquiry and found out that you do need a visa for Serbia. I believe Kuwait is your safest bet. You can try sending them an e-mail or contacting them by phone; they should know what exact papers do you need to have in order to obtain a visa.
