Posted July 23, 2008 I was looking now on website of our ministry of interior, and there it says that foreigners can get temporary resident visa for up to one year based on reasons of marriage, private visit, education, work, if u have relatives here, etc. I've no idea about visa overstay fines Reply
Posted July 23, 2008 Well, I manage to find info about fine when they make new law about foreigners (which is still in procedure), and it is between 10 000 and 50 000 dinars (125-625 euros). I don't know what is fine currently, but I guess it's not worse than it will be when they make new law Reply

If you need to stay in Serbia for more than 90 days, there's really no need to explore the overstay fines - simply get out of the country and then come back. You can go to the first border town in, for example, Hungary or Croatia. Reply
Posted July 23, 2008 I don't think that'll do the trick, or else you could live forever in any country you dont need visa for Limit is 90 days during six months, or during one year, I'm not sure. Reply

It's been tried and it actually does the trick. This is what our long-term volunteers do. NOTE: It doesn't work like that in every country. In Croatia the law is different, so after spending 3 months in the country you have to spend at least as much time out of it. Reply
