Putovanje za vreme i posle koronavirusa

419 posts in this topic

Jos nisu dosla vremena bezbriznih putovanja, a moguce da ce dugorocno postati i gore ako konflikt u Ukrajini preraste u novi hladni rat.

Despite the island having opened its borders to international tourists on February 4, Indonesia is yet to reinstate its visa on arrival (VOA) program. Currently the only visa available is a B211A visa, more widely known as a business visa.

You need to apply for this through the Indonesian consulate or a visa agency before you fly. Having lived in Bali on and off since 2016, I’m familiar with this visa, as it allowed me to stay on the island for longer periods of time.

As things stand, travellers will need to pay at least AUD$300 per person for a visa to enter to Bali. The cost of this category of visa is considerably high, especially if you’re only planning a short stay in Bali.

Most importantly, Bali has lifted its hotel quarantine for triple-vaxxed arrivals on a ‘trial’ basis and is now offering a visa on arrival (VOA) for around AUD$50.

As well as undergoing the usual pre-flight COVID testing, travellers will be tested on arrival at Bali international airport, as well as during their stay. So let’s talk about the elephant in the room.

Here’s what could happen if you test positive to COVID in Bali.

As part of the safety measures, travellers will need to provide proof of payment of at least three night’s consecutive accommodation at a Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environment Sustainability (CHSE)-certified hotel, and a list of the venues organised by area can be found here.

You’ll also need to undergo at least three PCR tests during your stay in Bali, first on arrival at the airport, one three days later and a final test before your journey home. Proof of COVID travel insurance with a minimum coverage of AUD$21,000 is a requirement of travel.

According to official documents, if the traveller is asymptomatic or has only mild symptoms, they’ll be taken to an isolation facility for 10 days, where they’ll be tested again on day five or six.
